    Must have been for UK consumption as I don't think I'm your pimp was released as a 45 anywhere..so it couldn't have been a hit. The only place it hit was on the northern soul scene.. and it was pretty big.. so the copies with the sticker with it on most likely represses in 75/76 when it was massive

  13. I've had 8 copies all told Inc 3 mint unplayed German white promos with sleeves. .. sold them on for between £40 and £60.. just kept the one German promo...looks lovely

  19. me and my bro were talking on a freezing cold site a few weeks ago about it too.... best of times looking back even got to dj there once at a birthday do..with the regular spinners and a couple more guests added on..some real bargains in the record bar..one of the highlights on the soul callender imo

  24. the uk 45 came out in mid 72 also steve..so every little boy and his dog who dj`d could and probably did play it
  25. kurt harris always reminds of the tracky club in barnsley around 87/8/9 ...strange tho 45`s like nolan porter if i could only be sure..i never heard out til saus dropped it one night at the wilton about 96.. nearly fell off my chair.. but i had it on the shelf for 10 yrs before then..never really thought of it as northern soul
