Admirations On E-bay
This guy sells discs on behalf of several collectors. Oddly enough the three discs you mention turn up fairly regularly over here...I missed a RSJ for £150 the other month!

All Sorted! Wanted
I have a rather nice demo for sale (£100)...also got their 'I didn't try' too (£225). Superb Soul tracks, all sides!

Cheap , Interesting 45s
Hope you're well, Russ Only ever had a WD of Pearlean Gray...never seen/heard of demos for their two Green Sea 45's (apart from the Atco variation before you mention that one!). Now, someone go buy that Fred Paris from Paul!

Cheap , Interesting 45s

Earliest Northern Soul 45s
What's this worth on an original Okeh 78?

R.i.p. Selectadisc
Big shame. An institution amongst UK indie stores. Spent many happy times chatting, drinking tea and selling-in the monthly new releases to Baz and Jim (amongst others), when I was a record label rep...many moons ago! I think the only possible future for independant record stores in the UK is within vinyl...of the second hand variety. Yes, we all buy via the internet, but a small independant second-hand vinyl/collector's store with a low rent still stands a chance? The internet can't beat face-to-face buying/trading, surely?

L.j.reynolds
If I remember correctly, the instrumental side to the LJ Reynolds is the same as Don Gardner & The Checkmates on Spectacular, albeit on that label it is simply called, 'Cookin''.

Sleepy King 45
I used to put it on tapes in the mid to late 80's...quite a good dance track with a fair number of fine Northern ingredients. Pops up on the 'Bay fairly regularly and fetches £50 or thereabouts. It is also on his album also on Awake...on yellow vinyl too...just as rare (if not rarer) than the 45.

Jesse Davis Inst
AAAAARRRRRGGH! Where is Ady when you need him?! (Mind you, I had fun at the Tokyo collector's night on Saturday night too! )

Bobby Dee "sweet Thing Pt1+2"(demo Ristic) M
Thirded. Dirty, gritty, lo-down Detroit Soul!
-
Lee Mc Kinney - Ill Keep Holding On
Seven copies in two hits apparently...certainly not enough to satisfy demand or to affect it's warranted safe four-figure valuation...imo. This is one of the truely great Chicago Soul sounds...faultless...harmonies par excellence...brass section from Heaven etc etc...LOVE IT!

Jim Demetriou Collection Pt 1
souljazera on here was after a copy of this...may be worth PM'ing him? Good luck with the sales...didn't Jim also have an Icemen on Ole, or is that to come? SELF EDIT: Good grief, I just spotted your seperate thread for the Icemen! Glad my memory is still working as it is a fair amount of years ago since I saw it in his racks!

Anyone Seen These 45's Before?
'Help me grow up' / 'You're such a sweet thing' Been years since I owned it and I can't recall it being particularly good...so you'd probably love it, Bob!

Anyone Seen These 45's Before?
Have had the Little Sonny Green...have you had the Little Mell with Jimmy Landers also on Whip? Had the Eldees and Jean Wells too...but never had the Tim Daugherty or Cleveland Robinson discs...are they any good?
