  1. This one is well worth a visit...quality Northern! A case of bootlegged before it had actually made an impact? The sound reproduction is so much clearer on an original too. I've got an original studio acetate for the Jimmy Jules number, but not worth scanning as it has no label!
  2. No WD, but this is rather pleasing to the eye:
  3. Konban wa. I assume you're not currently DJ'ing considering someone is currently playing a Culture Club track! I thought it was supposed to be a Soul Station?!
  4. Not that I'm aware of. Probably count the number of copies in collections on one hand...without the aid of the thumb?!
  5. What is the going rate for this rarity?
  6. I sold a WD last year...may have been on RareSoulForum.co.uk rather than here, mind?!
  7. I've sold a couple for £50 a piece...to the UK for the R'n'B side. £75 max...maybe?
  8. To annoy people Nothing to hide...it was £500...and I had three interested parties before putting up the sold sign Not a four-figure disc...imo.
  9. Nice one...now go get their LP on Maxx.

I kinda like this one...Manship auctioned one recently listing the other side.
  11. Nidge, Is that a paper-labelled copy? West Coast Monarch pressed? If so, what is the matrix number, please. Jeez am I an anorak or wot?!
  12. It's rubbish...you'd hate it...if you see one buy it and just send it me ...you'd like it tough not as raw as their Poncello goodie which the Soulsalmon seeks! Payment...I believe it did, let me just go and check...back again, yes it did
  13. Sure...2/3 of it attached. It is a totally different take to the (slower) one featured on his album of unissued material. It was destined for Elvis apparently...and I could imagine him doing it too...albeit probably not in a manic stomper fashion that this demo is set at. A belter of a stomper. 14. Sure you won't mind me riding in on this thread as I'm after the Jades too...but their one on Mode! Anyone help us Jades fanatics?
  15. Nice record cover don'tcha think...don't see many of those around, eh?!
  16. Both highly recmmended. Chicago Soul cross-over brilliance (both sides) and Detroit Soul at it's VERY best...sounds a milion quid! Ver' ver' cheap...imo.
  17. Already confirmed by Shorter Soul
  18. Well, it is 01:45 over here in Japan, so I'm emailing you from the future...the 1st June! I've just updated and uploaded the fresh sales pages over on Anorak's Corner. You'll also find a load of label scans within the sales pages too! >>> CLICK HERE TO VISIT THE SALES PAGES <<<
  19. Classic clip...nice one For reference, the noise one can hear when Ron (RIP) is cutting the lacquer/acetate is actually a vacuum sucking the disc to the turntable, so it doesn't slip when it is cutting. He also looks at the grooves being cut via a magnifying glass, in order to check the depth and distance between the concentric groove. The guy who used to cut my acetates used to love looking at the grooves of vintage acetates to see what measurements they were using...what an anorak!
  20. 土曜の夜何かが感きる...stomper! OK, how about this one:
  21. Nice use of the mixer, sir! Mayuzumi Jun...domo!
  22. ...and you're playing Patches on Phax...TUNE!

  24. Some of the best ever Here are the two CSC button-sized pin on badges:
  25. ...and let us not forget the SUPERB chunk of cross-overness from the Imperial Wonders! Dare I suggest that this is the strongest release out of the x3?
