  9. I'll get one of the Winding Wheel (Chesterfield) when in town next. It hasn't changed one bit on the outside, doubt it's changed on the inside either, grade one liosted building. There was also nighters before it became the winding wheel, trying to remember name, Fascination???? One part of Winding Wheel was the night club which is the upstairs bit and the large downstairs room (back then) was the old Odeon Cinema. There was also a night club across road that had a nighter or two (was that one the Fascination????) if memory serves me correctly and also the Adam and Eve in the Town as well. The Night Club that you are thinking of Chalk was "The Fusion" which was above part of the Odean Cinema building originally and which was to become the Ball Room upstairs in the Winding Wheel where John Kinghan and Arthur Dudley ran Soul Nights in the late eighties/early nineties. I actually had my evening wedding reception at the Winding Wheel downstairs where the all niter used to be held. Fantastic Room. The Fusion held a few all dayers in the early eighties, but I never knew that it had actually held an All Niter there. Cheers Bully!

And that is exactly what he did, RESPECT to IVOR for doing just that. It has to be said that he has Awesome Taste and the belief to play the records that he believes in. AWESOME STUFF IVOR - Total RESPECT Mate! Ivor has to be up there with the Scenes Top Spinners NOW THAT LOOKS A ITTLE BETTER!

  14. "you didn't need an explanation of what is something I feel ...i'm not asking you to agree with my personal preferences sean ". "is there much early 60's played at those venues" ? Yes there is Dundeedavie, but you wouldn't like it there, they only use albums! Bully
  15. "i have a feeling if i have to explain it , then you wouldn't get it ...and that's fine . i know what i mean and as i say most of the people i dj with do too" "personal preferences , don't worry about it" Dunedeedavie, I would like to know what you have you explain ? There is Nothing to Explain, as many well respected people have already said on the thead, there are several tracks that you would not be able to play on any other format apart from the original album. Because of this you are closing the door to many many very good soul tracks, unless you have a Boot made! Surely this is more of a No No than playing an album. With regard to Mik Parry's rare single, every time you play it out on your album, surely you are doing a service for Mik Parry and his single. Because it is getting a lot more exposure by you also playing it, because it must be pushing up the demand and also the price! By the Way Dundeedavie, what is the track? Would really like to know! Bully
