Record returns - important changes
I see that as from today anybody who buys "faulty goods" can return them within 30 days to get a full refund. I suspect gone will be the days when a seller says "No Returns". https://www.bbc.com/news/business-34403005

Discogs - paying Paypal or CC ?
Paypal pretty much guarantees that you get what you pay for, if not a refund, I've gotten my money back without too much trouble.

Discogs - paying Paypal or CC ?
Just been shafted by a Discogs seller who took order but only would accept CC (no Paypal) called atomichertz no record arrived, he's been suspended by Discogs but I might never see money back. Luckily wasn't that much - moral of the story if you don't really know seller well then ONLY pay with Paypal, you're better protected.

I am away for a few weeks so can't exactly say what's on the run-out apart from that there is a machined stamp matrix on it.

Rare and Northern Soul - so what's the difference?
- Sam Fletcher Belgian issue?
Pete, it's THE Frank Wilson of the Belgian Popcorn scene. 1st played there about 1973 by one of the big Popcorn DJs Gilbert Govaert. Is there a name with that "wants" ? Chris- Rare and Northern Soul - so what's the difference?
There are probably 500 answers to this or just as many as people reply. For me Rare Soul is just about how rare the record is (the infamous "only 3 known copies" brigade) with quality of the tune coming second. With Northern it (should) be the other way around although having said that there are some humdingers in NS that should be in the trash can. Get ready for a very short or very long thread- SORTED - Shane Martin - I Need You
Whoops !! should have gone to Specsavers !!- SORTED - Shane Martin - I Need You
Have you tried the "Wanted" section ? I know Andrea Ko was looking for for one maybe he got several offers ?- The rare soul scene in Europe and beyond
If you want to know what's going on this is a neat FB page : https://www.facebook.com/groups/belgiumgotsoul/- Sam Fletcher Belgian issue?
Correct (or were) cleaned up their act in in 1990s.- Sam Fletcher Belgian issue?
I have hem somewhere Chalky, stamp Paid 2500 Belgian Francs to Sabam, I think I filed them with some old Flemish recipes...................er no.......I wasn't involved it was the 1970s.............. enjoy your weekend..............- Sam Fletcher Belgian issue?
You can't make it black & white, they got permission, paid Sabam, no there never was an official Belgium Tollie label, best to leave it at that. - Sam Fletcher Belgian issue?
