Love Fantasy was the cover up name for Bird Walking- The Emanons......One of the few occasions where the cover up name was better than the actual 😀

Are all the multi colour Ranwood copies re-issues or is there an original multi colour issue too with a lower delta number ?

I did say I was in a minority 😉......The one I really did like from around the same time from Sam was his Primettes cover up, really Judy Hughes Ocean of Emotion on Crusader. Now that IS a tune. Has anyone on here ever come across one ?

I do collect.......I do like most of the others you listed except Delites, (never have).....I wouldn't chuck Arthur in the dustbin, I'd sell it pretty dammed quick & buy 20 or so more records I do like

With regard to the sniping tool, I use it occasionally as it suits me not to sit up till silly o'clock waiting for the last couple of minutes of an auction......... I'm reluctant to place my highest bid early too, because I get carried away if I get outbid by a couple of quid & then spend the rest of the day calling myself a t**t for overpaying !

I was doing St Ives all through 77until it shut in the October & the sounds mainly crossed over between St Ives & Cleethorpes. Black Soul must have passed us by. Can imagine it going down a storm in those days.

I voted depends. Cant see the point in 2 rooms with 30 people in each but for bigger venues a separate oldies room keeps sounds fresh in the other room

St Ives allnighter January 76 I asked for Alpaca Phase III - I Like To Party after hearing it at Kettering Central Hall some weeks earlier....Don't recall hearing it played out since, (probably for the best 😁), though I still play it at home occasionally
