  1. "Tow-A-Way Zone" Diane Jenkins - Creative Funk. Original rarer red label design on this Blackpool Mecca classic. N/mint. £25 plus postage. "Common Thief"- Bill House - RCA. Another great Mecca sound on original double sided demo. N/mint. £15 + post. "I Can't Stand No More Heartaches'- Emotions - Brainstorm. Original USA storming dancer. £20. N/mint. + post.
  2. "What Would I Do" - The Superiors -Verve. Original USA 45. A great Wigan Casino record and other venues. I remember it played regularly to a packed dance floor through those years💫 Record with great shine and Ex+ condition. £70 plus £3.75 recorded postage to UK address.
  3. Two I remember, Big Joe's Ivory Brass👍 Casanova Bennett👍
  4. It is raised print because the negative pressing plate was stamped. So when the negative pressing plate is used, the positive pressing has the letters opposite, so they are raised!
  5. Yes the letters/stamp does look roughly done.
  6. Seems like the only way to get a decent price for a record these days is change our names to John Manship Auctions! 🫤
  7. Looks good quality vinyl to me. A little like an RCA press. That's why I asked if it had any other markings like an R, I or H.
  8. My original has numbers etched not stamped. Also why would they press the flip side and not the designated A side?
  9. Interesting that it has the machine stamp. Has it got any other markings in the run out groove?
  10. Guy's, Detroit Rhythm Section instrumental of "Back Street" was also great in the venue! 💥
  11. I know what you mean about the records. Some I have had a very long time and for me, at today's prices they are irreplaceable! But I try and keep things in perspective and remember they are only trinkets. If I haven't got my health, material things are worthless🤔
  12. Yes this has been discussed on here before. You can find it on the search. There is a styrene original white demo with the backwards raised S in the run out groove. Booted on a vinyl white demo also. It was very popular in the 1970's at venues like Wigan Casino allnighters etc.
  13. My Home - Big Apple Brass - Royal Flush. Maybe someone's interested but J.R. Bailey sings the vocal on it🎶
  14. Reminds me of the USA sellers who used to scribble out the 'Not For Sale' on demo copies, before they sold them, in case they got arrested by the FBI🥵😊
  15. "River deep, mountain high" on the other side of this " I'll keep you happy" You will need the LP for the easiest way to get the great track "Such A fool For You" on an original format. I like it and remember the first time I took any notice of it was when Richard Searling played it.
  16. Listen to any record ever made, too many times, too much, you will get tired of them! No matter how good they are. That's why I never listen to the classics in the car everyday, it's just wasting them! Joe Tex told the truth when he said "if you eat too much ice cream it will give you a stomach ache, drink too much coffee will keep you wide awake, miss too many payments on your house you won't have anywhere to live, You better believe it baby! 😉 The Ambassadors knew the truth when they sang - "I've Had Too Much Of A Good Thing" 💫
  17. They are all great records! 🎶. This is just splitting hairs! I would take any of them. Just enjoy them all!💫
  18. Interesting! You could be on to something with this. Can it be proved?
  19. I do remember in the very early 1980's John Anderson had them on the Soul Bowl list for £10 each, on the section of the list for things he had in quantity. He must have had several copies as they lasted on the list for about 3 weeks! It was known then but not getting a lot of dj plays. I was going to get one but was chasing other things at that time🤔.
  20. I've Had It - George Smith - Turntable original USA 45rpm. Really nice top Mint- condition. Bell Sound machine stamped original. £150 + £8.65 fully insured postage. Great Stafford era classic! This picture is the record for sale. And this clip is just to hear the tune.
  21. 214 is the original of the "I Can't Forget About You" tune and 218 is a Sussex reissue of it!
  22. The Witches on a Sew City original in M- condition. £25 plus postage. I remember it getting some venue plays a long time back, but now a semi-known🤔 You tube clip just to hear the tune💫
  23. Bobby Powell - "Do Something For Yourself"- Whit original 45rpm. Ex+ condition. SOLD. Great Northern Soul Club Classic! Really winds up the atmosphere on the dancefloor💫 Copy for sale below.
  24. All records are available now. Send me a message if interested in something. Thanks. Postage costs to be added. Post to UK address only at this time. All sales returnable if not happy. Buyer pays return postage. "You Told Your Story"- Troy Keyes -ABC Near mint. £15. Original USA 45. "Two Loves Have I"- Big Joe Turner - Bluestime. Original M- condition. £80 Popular dance floor favorite in the 1990's. Too good to be forgotten and will come round again💫 "The Slow Fizz" - The Sapphires - Probe. All-time Northern Soul classic. N/mint condition. £18 plus postage. "You're With Me All The Way" Charades - Mercury vinyl W/demo original. Condition is Ex. £25. "The Ladies Choice" Boby Franklin - Fee. N/mint. £10 plus postage. Blackpool Mecca popular play. 3 x C.D. compilation of Funk & Soul Classics. £10 plus £2.25 postage to UK address.
  25. If I list some records how is this going to be different from Record Sales? Are the records going to go down the pages as more people list things?
