The Blue Sharks " These Things Will Keep Me Loving You "
Don't think it was a mistake - If you play the Smokey / Miracles track "Come 'Round Here" from the same LP, that is also a different take - Quite a few Motown LPs had different takes to the 45, Jimmy Mack / at least two Jackson 5 tracks, probably others too Cheers Mick Holdsworth https://northern-soul-records.com https://motownsound.co.uk

Rita & The Tiaras Long Version
Maybe it was just the one copy I played that was off (Think it was a white DJ), and "assumed" the rest were the same. Cheers Mick Holdsworth https://northern-soul-records.com https://motownsound.co.uk

Rita & The Tiaras Long Version
The Destiny release was the proper version by Rita & Tiaras , but badly mastered, it played off centre and sounded really bad. Cheers Mick Holdsworth https://northern-soul-records.com https://motownsound.co.uk

Tammi Terrell
I think , as Tony says, it was only the last few tracks that Tammi couldn't perform due to deterioating health - one of them was "The Onion Song". Cant be be sure, but "California Soul" rings a bell too. Cheers Mick Holdsworth https://northern-soul-records.com https://motownsound.co.uk

E-bay, Buy It Now?
Probably sold through other means (web site / gemm / etc) or not through the internet, especially if it was a popular item. Can take a while to update stock if it is listed more than once. Cheers Mick Holdsworth https://northern-soul-records.com https://motownsound.co.uk

Song Id Please
Good Grief!! - The Four Larks - No wonder I knew it from somewhere - about FOUR WHOLE DAYS AGO, I played this to someone down the phone and consequently sold it then and there (Got a spare though for myself). Can't say I know this posted version though - Philly LP? - Which one - is it still the Four Larks - sounds very similar in vocal style, but not quite the same ?? Missing Tmg Demo's
I remeber that an early (Motown Based) Spinners track got a release on Australian Pye, presumably because the Australian company "assumed" it was a new release by the UK Pye group. - So it wasn't just the public who were confused, Even PYE thought it was "Their Group" Cheers Mick Holdsworth https://northern-soul-records.com https://motownsound.co.uk

Frank Wilson
Thats probably the version I was on about earlier - Seem to remember quite a few "different" takes of classics on this CD - Chuck Jackson / Got the Need, and a version of "You Didn't Say A Word" which was completely different to the 3 known versions - could even have been a modern day re-recordings. Buy It Now Question
Also if your gonna pull it from auction, do so PDQ. I think there is a time limit on closing an auction (12 hours or more?) or is that just modifying an auction ? - may pay to check with only 17 hours to go.

No Better Boots?
Just found the original webpage https://gadgets.qj.net/How-to-Pirate-a-Viny...pg/49/aid/39381 Can't see anyone actually attempting this with anything woth more than a fiver, which kind of defeats the object doesn't it. Wonder if someone would lend me a Junior McCants for a couple of days ...
