Nice post! Ian's a talented artist alright and pleased to see the recognition. I knew Ian when he lived in the deep south - Guildford, Surrey (& bravely let me spin tunes at his early 90's 'Soul City' night in London a few times). Even his emergency flyers were something else!

Major Lance : Live At Hinckley 13.11.82 I was there & also at the Ric-Tic review - smashing shows. The Major Lance show was released on vinyl on Torch Records

So sad. Would loved to have seen him perform here in the Uk so we could have shown how much we love his music. Always remember the first time hearing 'love makes the world go round' & 'Ooh baby' and then collected all his 45's plus his album .

I was given a copy by Ian Clark to promote around the deep south (Surrey) when Iwas DJ-ing* nearly every weekend in the 90's . Not sure if this is helping Mal find a reasonable priced copy though. *drinking
