  1. I got mine from SoulBrother this afternoon, ain't had time to play them yet but they look in perfect condition.
  2. Soul Brother now sold out.

  4. ...so, at the moment 'Soul Brother' is the place to get one.
  5. After getting the message from Soul Brother to ask if I don't mind them opening the box first and checking, I have now received an e-mail saying that my order is complete. I guess that means the box is good to go. I await with baited breath.
  6. I bought the Trojan 'Haunted House' Skinhead Sevens box set for £25 and I've since seen it go for 4 times that much! Reckon a good set of this Motown box will fetch a nice price in the future.
  7. Just received a message from Laurence at Soul Brother, he's aware of the problems and asked if I mind whether they open it to check, I said that is fine. I just want a correct set.
  8. The only demo that I know of rarer than the issue on MGM is Spyder Turner.

  11. Tank, does it then follow "...That'll cheer me up before I count to ten" ???
  12. I have that early boot too mr.stockholm, I bet if you stuck it on ebay you'd get a good price, better than you would initially expect!
  13. There's some crap on 'Dearborn'... I remember buying a Dearborn 45 'cos it had a company sleeve but the music was C/W So I guess it's not solely a Soul label.
  14. I've got some top notch Reggae/Ska L.Ps and also some top notch Soul L.Ps....love them both! Pama, Trojan, Studio One, Coxsone, Pyramid, Blue Beat V Kapp, RCA Victor, Motown, Imperial, Minit, Atlantic, Stax
  15. Pm'd you re- Perlean Gray
  16. I have it on a tape, it's a great track!
  17. At the end of the summer I saw a Stax L.P by Lena Zavaroni on a car boot, I just couldn't bring myself to buy it! Begs the question: Stax, why?
  18. The Soupy Sales LP on Motown I have is called 'A Bag Of Soup', and as I said in an earlier post there are a couple of decent Motown dancers on it.
  19. WOW! why did I always think they were a blue-eyed outfit??!!!! Great stuff, I have the L-Rev 62068 45 as above.
  20. oh, my deadwax is 10/11mm wide.
  21. The matrix on mine is as Sebastian has described. I got mine straight from the States with a few other originals donkeys years ago. As I said, I have had the darker green, crumbly label boot and compared it with mine, very different.
  22. Kegsy, yours is the same as mine then. Here's mine, definite original. I've had the boot also and compared them side by side, loads of differences. My original copy...
  23. Not 100% mate but if you look at all the images of the boots on this thread and look at the original copy you can see the differnce in the position. The original scan I posted is not my copy but I just pulled mine out of my box and it sits in the same position, dead center over the hole. Mine also has the prominent 'ring'.
