BBC NewsVodafone says outage affecting thousands of customers res...Vodafone said its Monday outage, which knocked broadband and mobile data users offline for several hours, was caused by a "non-malicious software issue".

I believe there's been some problems with the Vodafone network since yesterday, but not everyone is affected. Shouldn't stop landline calls but could affect emails and mobiles depending on provider.

I remember Freddie Gorman doing Take Me Back and saying it was the first time he sang it since recording it. The whole thing was videoed by the BBC but I've never seen it on TV or DVD

I've read (can't remember where) that House Party was issued on Showtime first. Just checked my Party Time copy of House Party and it has STR 101 in the runout grooves which supports the theory.

Hi Mal, You're welcome. According to Keith Rylatts Groovesville USA book, Willie Jones had solo records on Big Top, Triple Star & Mr Peacock (Where's My Money) and was a member of the Royal Jokers. No mention of a Willie Harvey.

It came out on a Goldmine CD (Popcorn's Detroit Soul Party - GSCD59 - Track 13) as by Willie Harvey. They both sound the same to my cloth ears.

As far as I can remember the labels with blue and brown bits around the centre hole are west coast copies. Plain white labels are east coast, most being issues and only a promo if it says so on the label.

Does anybody know why Dickie & Ebb Tides is so hard to find on Golden World? I'm assuming the Fleetwood release was first. The only thing I can think of is that the song title is One Girl, One Boy on Fleetwood but One Boy, One Girl on Golden World. I guess that would be enough to get it pulled. Thanks.
