  1. Nice tune had it for a few years on usa never knew it had a UK issue or demo for that. lyrics get a bit grim after a while, Its not frankie and johnny!!!! Or Gayle Winters? records that stands the test of time.
  2. Ronnie & Joyce Alpha and The Alan Sisters Quality.
  3. Ohh I remember that now pete! Was funny.
  4. When did Sam leave the casino..
  5. Maggie was booted wasnt it.
  6. Hi Pete I can't open this or Download.
  7. I will have a listen later Pete thanks. I thought when I got the white/green it was an original but I was much happier with an original blue demo.
  8. It was a big want when it was a casino spin in the 7ts.
  9. I have long matrix so I can measure it up later on for comparisons of stampers etc but without a small matrix I wouldnt like to say if there is any sound difference.
  10. I have had both demos and that green one is a Boot sound quality is poor and large deadwax.
  11. I was told that the long matrix was the 2nd but the shorts been turning up for years now, wonder if its like the King Tutt Italian Boot?.
  12. I have a Blue Cat CD of the AdLibs but not sure if its this one. Very nice Hugh Harris vocal with a lighter girl sound. Its a shame it hasn't got any New York In The Dark on it or even Human. Played it back to back to the record, could only find a little difference 40 secs in @ bar that it sounds like the same take differnt mix? OO0ps!!!! no he sings different stuff at this point Love Her More Than She'll Ever Know --- Maybe I'm Foolish For Loving Her So.

    Nice GMP sleeve.
  14. So the rumour it was a mecca spin in 1974 isnt true and the phone conversation when Colin said to Russ would you like to see my coconuts! was something of quiet different subject.

    I have a Lyrics a £75 M WLP WOL
  16. I have a yellow demo but its one of those cheepies I don't think I could part with. Lol T.W.A.T that is.
  17. Not disputing your statement Miss M just filling in the gaps from the London point of view. I have done my maths and that makes you 54 years old now and you look great Interesting tho when the record was first played on the Northern dance floor . Coconut has a shed load of Garage tracks on the label so many copy's could be in collectors cubby holes?
  18. Not sure but Nick Brown could have bought his copy around about the same time as Dave off The Gashers 25 count box (lol) and was played out to fill in the gaps between The Dome and The Ville.
  19. My friend Sharon use to refer to it as tits to your arw, I like it.
  20. Was it Len who git a copy for fifty f@?kin P from a charity shop.
  21. I sold my issue VG++ when I got demo M, so might be tempted.
  22. Im not sure if its just poor quality, it allways sounds like the dolby button is pressed down to the 3 rd setting on the Sheila.

Never seen a demo but I have not really looked for one. Had the Rouser copy but went off it and never liked the slow side, lyrics make me cringe.
  24. Its got me thinking whats not been found yet and whats been binned of even better tunes than the likes of this one.
