Mark, Some of these lesser played and So called rarer sounds where not that good 40 yrs ago when they turned up in the Soul Bowl 100 packs and over 40 years they haven't got any better!! IMHO, but lots of Good Venues are down on Numbers in general as I think that the money is just not out there at the moment and people are maybe only going out one night over the weekend as opposed to 2 or 3 so they carefully plan the weekends.

Hi Paul, Pontins should never have let Blackpool Go! ! They knew how successful the weekender was at Prestatyn So Why Not Try a full week at Blackpool in July (or Whenever) as there are plenty of things to do off site during the day/night if people wanted a change. Plus they know that almost every chalet is full for the weekender if you have a quiet site and this sort of information to hand Then USE It bad managment not very forward thinking! ! marketing team needs a revamp IMHO.
