Anyone know who used to be the DJ back then (1967/8) used to do a soul night on a Sunday evening the guy always wore a black suit, white shirt ,black dickie bow looked the dogs dangleys. In Fact I don't think you where allowed in the place with jeans on!! Always used to play stuff he had heard the night before at the Torch, In fact one Sunday they pulled out some of those school type bench's to make square on the dancefloor and had a dance competition to? I think it was two can have a party. Anyway just wondered if anyone remembers him and if he is still on the scene?? Atb John.
