Linda Tate And The
Blimey ! Thanks for that Chalky, quite a bit different Agreed gtagg but I would love a full length clip of the unissued version, to my ears sounds great & sufficiently different to have it on an mp3

Yes must have been played a bit at the Dome as it was on one of the give away tapes but I don't ever remember hearing it & I went to almost every nite at the Dome. Mind you I always thought the beers pipes were never rinsed through properly & I think the beer & cleaning chemicals may have gone to my head, always loved it there though

Goes for about 500 these days Pete quite a toughie I think. Brilliant record often play it at Solid Hit. Steve Green had the alternate version at one time though pretty sure he sold it on, was it that different ? Thought it was just "extra" drums or something or am I just imagining that ?

Learn How To Dance Northern Soul Part 317
You must have seen me "dance" over the years Kev, all this time I've been wondering what to do with my arms ......... now I know Hope you're well mate ?

Learn How To Dance Northern Soul Part 317
The arm mention is great but nowhere near as funny as the "group lesson" video (must try & find it) where they're in line dancing mode & they're all dancing from side to side with one hand on their hip & on a side ways sweep ( I know all the lingo ) they all flick their hands in the air ala saturday night fever so it looks like a troup of dancing teapots, absolutely hilarious

Lee Moses - Bad Girl
Quite possibly Gareth re the Gates release as its at least 30years since I last listened to it. The Musicor release sounded a much better (yes 60s) dancer when I heard it out about 15 years ago but I was drinking a fair amount at the time Maybe I need to listen to them again

Lee Moses - Bad Girl
Can't remember too much Den to be honest I have the one on Gates which from (a poor) memory isn't really a Northern dancer whereas when I first heard the Musicor issue i thought wow this is so much better than the one I have & is a dancer.

The Wonder Of Woolies
70 or 71 W H Smith had a big sale of Motown LPs ( & possibly other Soul stuff, long time ago) can't remember price but 14 / 6d seems to ring a bell but might be barking up the wrong tree there bought Isley Brothers Behind a painted smile, don't think I knew anything on it apart from the title track. Imagine hearing all that stuff on one album again for the first time Why I never bought anything else who knows but to this day that remains one of my favourite Motown/souls LPs

Unexpected Find
Best find for me 80 or 81 Herby Brown One more broken heart Blue Ash can't remember price as used to buy a fair bit in this shop & they had 2 prices 10p & 20p, hope I didn't pay over the odds at 20p Sold it 20 odd years later for £1590 should have been £1600 but sold it abroad & he sent 3 packages with cash in !!!!!! & the bank had run out of Sterling, being generous I let him off 10quid

John Manship Auction Results 25-2-2015
Ha Ha you can always play that game Steve with whatever sounds are in vogue. A few years back when you couldn't move for Dottie & fucking Millie i heard it in 3 consecutive sets, think it was the afternoon club feature. I'm sure throughout the weekend it easily exceeded 8 plays.
