Coming back to the market quickly then. were they sold too cheap first time round or is it more a case of hopeful optimism that a good profit can be made ? i have no idea how much these records sold for in the first aucion. But it did seem a strange place to be selling those records when there are more established specialist record dealers who could probably get better prices.

2 or 3 super rare Motown all at once then.

There was a thread on here in 2009 and it was mentioned there is a dobre 45 with these 2 sides. has anybody got a scan or can confirm there is one ?

I have come across quite a few different Dutch boots of deep soul as said aimed at the Surinam market

I had a strange one from uk to Spain it took about 2 months to arrive. turned out ok but wasn’t great. got basic tracking but that didn’t tell me or buyer much only that the record had passed out uk.

Werent boots just as much of an issue in the 70s as they are now ? they arent a new scene problem are they.

Yes agree when I was looking it was 30 to 50 quid but I didn’t see loads of copies like you do some records at that price. for the quality I think in this market 100 is fair not that I would pay it.

That diplomats is fantastic i have always thought its been a bit undervalued. tricky to find but not overly expensive. Maybe that is going to change ?
