starts about 16 mins in for those who haven't seen it yet. did the 45 actually sell for 26k in the manship auction I thought it was much less than thatn more like the 15k kenny paid ? amazing he can go on national TV and claim to have had the record when every man and his dog knows he didn't. so far removed from what I believe NS is about.

there is one there is a slight chance it might be canadian but i'm sure its american.

absolutely i've got my eye on the shark dive just deciding wether to go for PVD coating or not. I seem to be going throuhg a big chunky watch phase recently although I do also like the more smarter dress watch as well. there seems to be a great choice of good quality watches in this price band right now.

deposit down on a benarus moray 3 but won't be seeing this one for about 5 months. will soon have to start a one in one out policy.

If I had to pick a favourite blue eyed song I might go for linden hill on arch. That sounds very soulful.

the lucky few who got it from voices as a front page focus did very well. is the otis clay on echo even close to its real market value I thought that was about a tenner tops ? I might be wrong

could the vocals lack the power because they are a bit back in the mix ? it does sound like CJ but as you say lots of people mimicked the styles of well known sin gers all the time so it could be anybody.

it is a great record I remember phil rains telling me how fantastic this record is some time ago. the 6k estimate is looking about right as well......

I heard this via jason about the same time and then shortly after I heard it played in the UK so i'd agree jason was first onto this. he deserves a lot of credit for the stuff he turns up not just this one record.

recently picked up one of these 2nd hand but tip top condition. They are very BIG at 53mm dia and won't be to everybodies taste but certainly something a bit different. her surname is spelt differently on every 45 she did. I'm not even sure what the correct spelling is my good lady is out on a hen night on the 30th so i'm home alone with the kids. then I go to the stag in barca for 4 days 2 weekends after. so unfortunately I won't be at this night but hopefully the next one.

I know B3 and B5 came out together on a 45. I ended up with about 3 copies. were there any other 45s from this LP ?

I bet ypou can buy an iphone app for 50p that will recognise most cover ups now nothing much gets past those clever guys at apple.

I recently heard his version of "i'm loosing the feeling" taken from asn LP and that the track the made me ask the querstion. It was a great version. I think it may be off his first LP.

are you having a bit of a geater davis clear out thats the 2nd in a week. a great artist who made some wonderful soul records.

yes it is about the records but if some cheque book DJ appeared out of nowhere and baught a collection of mega rarities immediately it wouldn't seem right. Not to me anyway.

I was thinking about this. Will they sound as good played by somebody else. I suppose they should in theory but some of the magic may go ? but in about 10 - 15 years time all that will seem irrelevant. Lets hope the scene continues and the records end up in the right hands those who appreciate them.
