The sweet soul flip does have light styrene noise on quite parts but not very intrusive and still very enjoyable. just sold for over $200 on ebay so a bargain here by PM please if interested dylan
  3. a bit suprised nobody is sniffing asround this
  4. you might want to edit the sterphonics price as well get rid of that second pound sign as I assume you mean 225 great record this and rare too. but if you only want 25 then i'll have it

an interesting time to start a sales thread for this record.
  8. if income tax in US is anything like in the UK then he probaly only sees about 60% of what the record sells for whne you add up fees and tax. so non business sellers who don't get taxed and avoid ebay ca offer the same records @ 60% moerer prices to see same cash into pocket. food for thought..................
  9. I listened to a few divshare links then they all started showing as 0.00 seconds long (even the ones I had already listened to). can anybody help me out with what the problem is ? Never had this problem before ? looks like a great list.
  10. i'm gald I have a M- spare if this is true.
  11. with the volume of listings craig does surely some of them must be free won't somebody with a business account or shop have different listing fees to the average man in the street who sells just a few 45s ?

I have an Ex condition ray lewis for sale 50GBP. its a great version and also has a decent flip side so you get 2 for 1.
  13. it was a good few years ago now I can't remember which year excatly. Sorry.
  14. I do have a vivid recolaction of another shepherd bros release on a pink label but can't remember the label or titles ? I listened to a clip when it went through ebay but in the end decided not to bid.
  15. don't think anybody wants to part with it would sit very nicely next to my nancy day. hopefully when I do finally come across one the price won''t be to silly. And I assume the shepherd bros in the initial post are the same group who recorded on gaye ? they must be......
  16. thats exactly what I kep trying to get my head round. I've come to the conclusion ther is just no point even trying just go along with it all it all adds to the fun.
  17. the mojo one. I was stciking with the topic of the thread. I know about all the others.
  18. never heard the middle one and am looking for a copy of the vivilore jordan if anobody can help.................... I've found the georgia soul site very useful as a reference tool. The effort that goes into these sites is incredible.
  19. I think nicky soul is a lot rarer though..... are there any others on the label ?
  20. I manged to get quite a bit mroe than that for mine about 2 years ago. IMO it was never a big in dermand record I actually found it quite a hard record to sell in spite of quality and rarity. these lower prices are a sign of the times and its a good time to buy still plenty of 45s going for way over what they should on ebay as well so its swings and round a bouts just like it always has been.
  21. its also all relative isn't it. some people will spend 2 or 3k on a record and it will just be like a bit of pocket change. If I spent 3k on a record (which I don't ever want to) i'd have to live on cold beans for months.....

very good advice an essential guide even for people who have been collecting years.
  23. I have baught a record with a label like that prehaps a touch better. Ex vinyl mind you and plays perfectly. "look up and smile" on dada
  24. I could see a situation where a buyer could get in over his head if he starts two or three of these installmets at the same time with different sellers and struggle with meeting all the payments. I did buy something myself over 3 months last year (not a record) and without that option I would never have got the item. So at times and with a bit of common sense it can be a good thing. I'd want to know the reputatioin of the other person before entering into a deal like this though.
