never heard the middle one and am looking for a copy of the vivilore jordan if anobody can help.................... I've found the georgia soul site very useful as a reference tool. The effort that goes into these sites is incredible.

I think nicky soul is a lot rarer though..... are there any others on the label ?

I manged to get quite a bit mroe than that for mine about 2 years ago. IMO it was never a big in dermand record I actually found it quite a hard record to sell in spite of quality and rarity. these lower prices are a sign of the times and its a good time to buy still plenty of 45s going for way over what they should on ebay as well so its swings and round a bouts just like it always has been.

its also all relative isn't it. some people will spend 2 or 3k on a record and it will just be like a bit of pocket change. If I spent 3k on a record (which I don't ever want to) i'd have to live on cold beans for months.....

I have baught a record with a label like that prehaps a touch better. Ex vinyl mind you and plays perfectly. "look up and smile" on dada

I could see a situation where a buyer could get in over his head if he starts two or three of these installmets at the same time with different sellers and struggle with meeting all the payments. I did buy something myself over 3 months last year (not a record) and without that option I would never have got the item. So at times and with a bit of common sense it can be a good thing. I'd want to know the reputatioin of the other person before entering into a deal like this though.

I can remember being very dissapointed when hearing this for the first time after all the hype it gets.... but I didn stick it in my watched items just to see how much it would sell for.

it won't be all that long before nobody knows what was and wasn't in soul packs...... all the information will become 2nd and 3rd hand. speaking for myself I can only base how hard records are to find on how often I come across them now. there is still plenty of brilliant music being played and thats the main thing.

can you post up all his usernames e-mail addresses for ebay paypal etc so he can be avoided. sorry to hear about this it sounds like a nightmare.

you won't get a better 6 quid record than patterson twins on king. Superb.

without wanting to mess up your want thread but that last ebay copy on ebay must surely have been a freak high price ? I always thought it was worth much much less than the price it sold for

When I first got into it I read a lot of the books available. they make a good read. I'd certainly read a book on the 80s scene. But on the other hand i'm not exactly rushing to the cinema to see soul buy as it just doesn't appeal. I'll wait for the DVD.

I put this side on because I am a lot more familiar woith the other side and wanted to hear this one some more. I did see you had used this track but my selection was already prepared. its a great 45....
