Yes I have read that before. which one would you say is the best ? I don't think I have ever got an mp3 or CD with the suncut version. I had the hit sound and thought that version was good. But as I mainly focus on deep it obviously had to be hit sound for me.

Glad to finally get a copy plus last 45s were electrostats on three oaks, jeter davis on sunburst and "what about the children" on bell (forgot who this is by )
  7. have you tried the mod forums ?
  8. I think people have been deliberateoly trying to catch you out by listing modern and northern as x-over eddie parker "i'm gone" is a perfect example of x-over.

Very unlikely it was unsold. My guess would be someody made an offer to the buyer before the auction finished and he accepted it.
  10. exactly what I was thinking you just can't compare romance watson to this record. One is a good soul record the other isn't.

  13. never fails to amaze me just how much knowledge some collectors have. All interesting stuff here I am now sorted with vols 1 to 3 thanks.
  14. soul children "the sweeter he is" probably track of the whole swap for me can't believe i'd not come across that before now. sensational stuff.
  15. just spent 2 weeks in norfolk and I was very impressed. Plenty of momney floating about as well much different to what I expected as i've never been before. pubs and eating out all to a high standard. Didn't see to much eveidence of places struggling to be honest. Norwich was also impressive.
  16. nottingham has soulville steakhouse a themed restuarant and bar. never been in myself as I can only imagine its vastly remnoved from what i'd want out of a soul venue. But that is probably the only type of venture that woudld work in the mainstream in a city centre.
  17. is vol 5 the last one or do they go further ?
  18. I have vols 4 and 5 but would like the others if anybody has them available. regards, dylan

the green one is great from a "soul" perspective though
  20. not sure i agree with this. the buyer should state what it is. He knew it wasn't an original but didn't say so. Thats deception in my opinion.
  21. that gladys tyler was an absolute give away price.
  22. thats from rich (harrogatesoul)
  23. heathens they should be burnt at the stake for saying such things all the more great records for us on the cheap though if thats what the majority continue to think.
