  1. I never saw or heard the one before this. It must have been shocking I would buy a record of this rarity in this condition just not for this price.
  2. yes not worth that money in that condtion and its no doubt going to gop higher.

thats a fair price he is offering somebody should oblige.
  4. Primitive "you are everything / sister africa" Love A rare carolinas group harmony record backed with a funk track. Seldom seen for sale. this is terrific harmony singing and a great example of the genre. M- condition looking for $300 delivered. if no joy here will try on ebay.
  5. nobody want this pretty sure I easily got 175GBP for my last copy a couple of years ago so this does seem like a bargain for somebody. 2 top sides here.
  6. I think it was / is quite obscure. I just don't think it ever had huge demand hence why when it did crop up you could get it under 100 GBP. i'm not knocking the track I think ts great I just don't think it got beyond being a tape swappers record. not one for the hot box and big prices.
  7. 100-150 seems right not sure about it coming down in price as I doubt anybody would of paid the 400 manship was asking. saw a few change hands under 100 at same time manship had his at 400. Sold one myself.
  8. priced to sell I hope not trying to be greedy here.
  9. Baby Dave Greeenlee "we need love / bout my babys love" Steel City 125GBP delivered ex cond 2 great mid tempo sides with some harmony singing included. cheers, dylan
  10. i'm a bit suprised i've had no interest at all in this quality and rarity are without doubt. prehaps its just still waiting the demand but thats only a matter of time...... with more exposure I could easily see the price going astronomic on this ? or prehaps I have no taste I believe Andy Dyson has played this a few times at lifeline etc etc ? if its the conditon putting people off then PM me and i'm sure i'll be able to put your mind at rest
  11. you have a PM
  12. got a few vg things tha play very well. but only if thats all i've been able to locate. But I won't pay top $ for them. for reference that last leste tipton that just went through ebay falls way below my idea of what a vg record should sound like. It was more like G.
  13. thanks seb this would please all but the very strictist of collectors who only settle for M-
  14. This is the first and rarest release by Frederick Knight. Very hard to turn up and relatively unknown i'd say. Can't be too many copies of this in circulation ? label condition is only vg it has some ring wear and looks generally a bity grubby. But no tears and all writing is intact and can all be read OK. vinyl condition visually vg to vg+ play condition for "stepping down" is excellant plays realy well. play condition for "heart complication" there is some light noise in places mostly when the record goes quite but all in all still very enjoyable. 750GBP delivered anywhere. no offers. regards, dylan
  15. if we could gbet chelsea and bullshit into the same sentance I might be tempted to join in this conversation

is this the same track as by howard peters on coral ? it sounds like a track a few people might have done
  18. ernie my comment was a joke hence the smiley face. Off couse I don't expect you to follow every thread. I don't take these kind of threads to seriously I think this forum is at its best when its friendly banter and informative chat about soul music. so who is this keb charactor then.....
  19. its not speculation ernie its a follow on from some heated debate on some previous threads. Do try and keep up just a bit of mud slinging. she looks like that fat indie rock star whose name slips my mind.
  20. in my limited experience of selling if the cash doesn't come in within 24 hours you are in for a rough ride. although there have been one or two exceptions where people have specifically said they will pay on a given date and been good to there word. i'm currently holding 300GBP of records for somebody who seems to have disapeared... i'm now not expecting this transaction to ever happen. if this were a way of earning a living I could see it getting very frustrating. its always a relief when the person who responds to your sale is somebody you know is good for the money
  21. shakespeare walks into a bar...... get out your barred.
  22. record now with its new owner thanks for looking I would like to hear both sies of his istantlee 45 if anybody can help me out with mp3s I can PM my e-mail address to them. thanks.
  23. i've tried that sound clip 3 times and it stutters so much I gave up trying. I think i did hear some crackle though
  24. no i'm being serious I don't like it.
