Lee Fields reminded me of a mini version of James Brown - great showman gutsy vocal delivery and gut wrenching vocals - The Expressions a perfect tight knit group of musicians in their own right . All round best concert I have witnessed this year .

Witnessed her sing it live @ BOTW in Manchester this year. Amusing that it was one of the few tracks she knew the words too - many of her soul disco hits she just ad libbed through. However her rendition of ' Magic Touch ' nailed it !!

With hindsight I can recall my personal experiences of being offered racks of albums in the very early 1980 's that I turned down ( even @ £1 or less each ) as there was no mass market buying that style , and anyhow was short on storage space for the quantity on offer . The haul included : Sam Dees, J R Bailey, Lou Courtney, Anthony White , and various other now ' big ' ticket collectors albums.

Always thought Bobby Bennett - Days Go By - tough issue see the demo quite regular. Cannot understand the rarity tag around Carolyn Crawford - was around as a new release , and somehow has gained a ' mystique rarity ' tag with a certain individual quoting a three figure price tag ..ffs don't make me laugh !!
