Just defeats the whole initial objective of Record Store Day though doesn' t it Steve ? Not what they set out to achieve when first developed a few years back. Saw a shop on Saturday in Sheffield ( while footie bound ) that never has customers...300 queing outside at 9 am.... Hours later they are busy listing them on Ebay at inflated prices . Gregory Porter is a great piece of vinyl but a £10 item is what it should be. Anyhow ten years down the line we probably won' t have a RSD all the physical entity shops will be long gone me fears....

Did not say it was ' rare ' Pete that's a hot potato term anyhow - just one of the more elusive Grapevine releases. At the time of release Grapevine distribution was sporadic to say the least .... as the label was coming to it's ultimate end.... Incidentally have not managed to sell one myself ....seller was obviously a lucky bugger....

Tamla 54221 issued April 26th , 1972 in limited quantity was never pushed much so my US counterparts informed me its quite a obscure issue - have found two or three maybe in last 15 yeras ... - also issued on red vinyl for the demo copy. IF its ' Trouble Man ' 21/11/72 tamla 54228 .
