  1. Ive heard a 1000 better, and the backing vocals are not of the highest quality, and as someone pointed out it isn't much of a dancer either. Rare record yes, soulful yes, my cup of tea no.
  2. They are defiantly not worth that sort of money [ especially in these troubled times ]
  3. I'm sure a Doctor can sort them out.
  4. Can you believe it or not, sold on ebay for 71 quid on a grapevine issue. if there were only a few hundred on grapevine i still woulnt wanna pay that, but maybe im in the minority. I'm surprised some of the records dealers on hear havn't jumped on this one yet , trying to catch another fish
  5. I started with my spot at the Volks, Brighton the other week with Robert Walker and the Soul Strings / stick to me. Its still a great record and should be played more often , also through in the Bari Trackin in the set, why not! two great inst.
  6. What still gets me going, is hearing a track Ive never heard before, and straight away wanting to know what it is, if i didn't hear such records, i wouldn't still be on the scene. It happened last sat at Dave Morris do at the Loft Bar, Bournemouth when Simon Preston put a R&B number on, and i noticed 4 DJs going up to the decks to have a pep, for me that's what its all about.
  7. Its not rocket science, you need newies [ remember all records were new to our ears once ] and you need oldies, mix the two together, there are thousands of quality oldies out there. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I would say you would pick the Ballards up for 35 on VJ AND 50 on Wee dont pay no more than that, theres loads around.

I paid about 40 for mine, think that's probably what its worth, but no doubt some dealers will want a lot more due to demand of this track amongst Latin and Mod enthusiasts

  17. I second that, there's to many people slagging other people off on hear ,and the people doing the slagging probably haven't got any talent ,unlike myself
