Christmas Special and once again we have secured Ted Massey and Simon Hunt for this event and as Mick H has opted for Spain we have called on Rick Bramhall to cover for him. As always Alex Gallagher and myself, Mick Boyle will be starting & finishing the night. 3rd Friday this month instead of our normal 4th Friday. Expect a night of sheer quality soul - start to finish. Hope to see you there.

Info For Januarys night This will be the last chance for our regulars to buy tickets (£5) one per person for our special January 24th 2025 event. This is a thank you from The Boat team (Nick, Lisa, Maxine & myself) for all the support from our regulars that have made our nights what it is. We have 11 dj for this special night - Ted Massey, Fred Benson, Rick Bramhall, Simon Hunt, Chick, Alex Gallagher, Mick H, Spook, Mark Hopes, Hammi and myself. Tickets will be sold to Regular's up to 9:30pm and if ant tickets are left they then will then go onto general sale. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back to October 25th This Months Guest DJ - Dave Mack (+ Mick H - Alex Gallagher - Mick Boyle ) The Boat, Trentside, Nottingham NG2 5FA - 4th Friday of every month We aim to continue the nights of the Brit / Boat / Union Playing 100% OVO. Herman Griffin was Herman Lewis married to Gigi from the Charaime’s. She told me Andrea Henry was his girlfriend. Also said she sang like a baby first but the acetate is lost.

Well I did a thread on suspicion a few years back. My son whom pick up all lyrics on hearing a record once (failed on count the days hence another thread) told me that the lyrics in the two suspicion records are in a different order, if that’s correct then 🤷🏻 I also said I was told of a third version by the Monitors but I got chastised for that suggestion.
Ric-Tic review at The Notts Palais, I got into the dressing room afterwards and got all there signatures. It was the first time I met Pat but certainly not the last.
