Well put nev, think the youth thing hit the nail on the head there mate, a lot of people in those days were pigeon holed into different social groups ie MODS, SKINHEADS, PUNKS, BIKERS ETC luckily for one reason or another we were a part of the northern soul scene at its hieght of popularity, socially wise it was a great place for meeting people many of who still to this day are some of my best friends, so really it put the roots down for a life long love of the music & the people, if its in your blood its there for good i say

What a great heartwarming post steve, we have a 16yr old who hangs about with all these goths, think its peer pressure, but when she`s in her room i quite often hear things like, ROY HAMILTON-YOU SHOOK ME UP & HER FAVOURITE- BETTY EVERETT-TOO HOT TO HOLD, were taking her to the york alldayer with us, its gonna be a suprise for her shhhhhhhhhhhhh
