  4. Used to have one of these, but sold it a few years ago when I got a proper one. Seen one or two over the years, so never thought it might be in any way rare. Only got about £10 for it if I remember correctly.
  5. Des, PMed you. John
  6. Anyone know if the Kent release (Select City 010) is the only legit way to get this record?
  7. Better make sure the Sam & Dave and Jnr Walker are in the box for Waterfront :-)
  8. Defo looking forward to it Andy :-)
  9. Cued up my next tune, then had to wait while the host made an unexpected announcement about a couple getting engaged. Up on stage - flowers, chocolates etc. Then I kicked off my (by now forgotten) choice. Out blasted 'You Don't Want Me No More'. Not exactly in keeping with the moment, but it got a good laugh. Apologies followed, of course. More laughs!
  10. Oh yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Cheer Andy. Another one you very rarely hear.
  12. Hi Brian, paid £50 for my issue copy about 7 or 8 years ago. According to Popsike that looks about average, though it varies, of course. Hope this helps.
  13. Agreed Sid, one of the best two-siders you'll ever find.

  19. You could try this site. https://www.northernsoultenerife.com/events.html
  20. Nice enough I suppose, though not exactly exhilerating. I don't think Dean's version is likely to be overshadowed. :-)

  22. What was an average weekly wage in 1973, about £20? Apparently it's now £500, so mulitply these up by 25. Still not bad, some of them, and others have gone the other way. Great stuff :-).
  23. Flipside is brilliant too IMO - Homesick.
  24. Had one on here a few weeks ago. He said he was interested in buying the whole block of about fifteen records - all dirt cheap. He haggled about the price and the postage, then, when I'd offered him a pretty fair deal, he said he'd go away and think about it. That as last I heard. What a waste of time.
