Let It Be: Black America Sings Lennon McCartney & Harrison - New Release

This autumn see's the release of the follow up to the 2011 released “Come Together: Black America Sings Lennon & McCartney” album.  While this release follows a similar Beatles related concept as before, this time around the range has been extended to include George Harrison compositions. Though the length of the album title does make you wonder if '...sings the Beatles' may have worked better

I enjoyed this more than the first volume.  I think that is about me not the first CD though.  I kind of feel instinctively it is more my experience for soul artists to be covered by pop and rock artists rather than the other way round, but this stands up in its own right.
