Wide variety of DJ's including the iconic Brian Rae and a few other local names. Great to see my personal favourite Johnny Weston, he's not everyone's cup of tea and perhaps he was on a tad early so not a full floor for him but bloody impressive stuff nonetheless. Someone else played Jesse Johnson - Left Out too so that's my quota of brilliance fulfilled. Other DJ's followed a fairly tried and trusted path but enough variety still. This really is excellent value 4-2 for just a fiver (if you get there before 6) or six quid - great floor, separate bar, loads of room etc. Only slight grumble is that they didn't have DJ times up for this or the last one so unless you're an expert at visually identifying DJ's you don't known who's playing what - maybe it's just because my discriminative hearing is so bad though, can't really hear what anyone is saying on the mic! As ever in the Black Country though, there were several other events on the same time which is always a bit frustrating. Sketched a couple of dancers and Brian Rae. I rarely give 5 stars - I've noticed that often reviews are by people connected with the event who inevitably give 5 stars to everything. I am trying to be objective. Link to review
