Ashton Ukrainian Club - Ashton-under-lyne

To quote Stuart Raith "it's a bit good here innit" Ashton Ukrainian 7th anniversary delivered by the bucket load!!

Blown away by another full house and yet more New Faces, it really is appreciated .

Nice to catch up with Alan Jenkins and Natalie Nicholls glad you enjoyed and look forward to Alan's set next month!!

Musically it was right up there, usual fresh and varied opening set from Phil Dunn and very close to spot of the night was Tony Mac, very unassuming he never fails to deliver!!

Next up two hours of Soulful Grooves Ukrainian fixer and non too shabby DJ Simon Ingham double decking with Top Soul Collector/DJ Allan Coney some real nice stuff, a few acetates and great forgotten oldies like Top Shelf "no second thoughts" sounded great to these ears!!

Top Spot of the night and rightly so Andy Dyson once again took the roof off, Stormie Winters "lifesaver" Bernadine and so many more, just brilliant, thanks mate!!

Lord Ashton Chris Churm rounded off the night, mixing the styles Marshall, Donovan and Broomfield, Choice of Color the pick of the 70s mooovers from the 60s Brooks Brothers, Ralph Graham and squeezing the last drop of emotion Big Jack Montgomery "don't turn your back on me" WOW!!

Always the sign of a great night when people just didn't want to leave!!

We have some amazing DJs lined up in the coming months, more will be revealed March 16th......
