Guest TONY ROUNCE
HIYA,CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHO RECORDED (SMOKEY JOES CAFE)ON US CAPITOL.I HAD A COPY IN THE 70s. THANKS WRIGHTY. Assuming you mean the Asfhford-Simpson-Armstead song "Smokey Joe's", and not Leiber and Stoller's "Smokey Joe's Cafe", you have a choice of two different versions: Tina (Mason) and the Mustangs - CAPITOL 5562 (1966) Donna Loren - CAPITOL 5548 (1965) ...both of which are very similar. Song was also done by the Jewells on Deluxe (6202) in 1967 Link to comment Social source share

Guest TONY ROUNCE
isn't it the jewels on dimension? The Jewels certainly were on Dimension - twice, in fact - but, as I said, "Smokie Joe's" (as they spell it) was on Deluxe 1202, c/w "Lookie Lookie Lookie"...
