Anyway if you ain't gonna play originals ,do what a friend of mine does, who runs his own roadshow. DOWNLOAD every song you want onto a laptop and hook it up to your music system and just play that. Save you a fortune in vinyl carvers, and they'll never wear out.
April 30, 200916 yr Pete S has mentioned this before, but this never ceases to amaze me .. https://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/vinylrecor...armrsZ1QQ_fromZ Somebody give me a good reason why I spent 1000s of pounds on ov records. I could have saved lots of money, if this seller had been around before...
April 30, 200916 yr Had a look at his feedback, a guy named "northernsouljock" bought a Frankie Valli- Beggin carver thingy Edited April 30, 200916 yr by hermanthegerman
April 30, 200916 yr Somebody give me a good reason why I spent 1000s of pounds on ov records. I could have saved lots of money, if this seller had been around before... I'm sure your tongue is firmly in your cheek Gerd, however, just in case: Because my friend you have the joy of owning an original recording on a beautiful original label together with the "thrill of the chase" whilst looking for it. And the moral superiority of knowing you are not breaking the law or ripping off artists or, if DJing, conning the paying customer who wants to hear originals. You are also not putting money into the pockets of a criminal (who, as he is in the UK could well be a member on here). If it's saving money you're after no need to buy these at all, just get MP3s (legal ones if possible). Unfortunately Ebay don't seem to take action when I report items like this, maybe if we all did it in a concerted effort? Anyway, I think this thread is going to turn to yet another originals Vs boots one so I'm outa here! Cheers, John. Edited April 30, 200916 yr by John Al

April 30, 200916 yr Why are we all surprised, plenty of people have posted on here that they don't give a toss about format. After hearing some of the bollocks on here i'm not surprised that these things sell.

April 30, 200916 yr Unfortunately Ebay don't seem to take action when I report items like this, maybe if we all did it in a concerted effort? Cheers, John. I reported the guy as well nearly two months ago, because it´s definitelly agains ebay rules.. to name but one of the reasons, but no reaction from ebay and as you can see he is still selling and ebay is earning money more and more and more. maybe more people should report those sellers, but i fear the they stop one of them and two new will come instead. .....EBAY, YOU ARE A PROSTITUTE, but what would we do without you?

April 30, 200916 yr I reckon we should each bid on one, and then when we win it all refuse to honour our bids on the basis that the reords are fakes (rather than reissues as he describes them), and then each complain to ebay en masse - if nothing else it will burger up his business for a few weeks Edited April 30, 200916 yr by Steve G
