Back in 73 "Landslide" did it for me.

Now I find it hard walking, never mind dancing

As a lady dancer I thought that backdrops and the like are always done in the "breaks "of the record

These day folks seem to drop em in anywhere they like ...I thought it was how each individual interprets the music and the specific tune

Therefore adds the backdrops spins etc in any record where theres a break

The first time I experienced the full spectacle / took notice of back dropping , was when a couple of chaps at Leed Central in 1968 , danced to this outing from Mitch Ryder .......

Agreed I have seen a lot of people back dropping to records all over. Its only certain parts of the record some people dont listen to the music.

If you could find the sq yardage in Tunstall these were backdropping material

I don't think I've ever seen you doing backdrops...bit of dancing in the rain on a one at Bradford rave cave with your shoes and socks off but that's about as far as it got mate

No I'am a bit young for the torch I'm 27 been into the scene 11 years now My knees hurt a bit sometimes but who cares when your dancing you dont feel it its only after.

1973/74 loadsa loadsa tunes to back drop to. Loads. Salvadors sticks in the mind. 3.00am main room.All your mates around you. Magic.
