August 25, 200915 yr Not very much as they're the most common by far. Dave Our Love Will Grow is actually very tough on red and yellow Action, it's at least £50. Competition - £25 Dee Dee Sharp - £35 - £40
August 25, 200915 yr Sorry off topic but with the UK Action theme, how much for Olympics - Baby Do The Philly Dog in crap condition P
August 26, 200915 yr Sorry off topic but with the UK Action theme, how much for Olympics - Baby Do The Philly Dog in crap condition P sold a decent copy for £9 on ebay so less than a fiver:thumbsup: dave
August 26, 200915 yr By and large, the values in John Manship's UK guide are about right in my opinion but I'd have a minimum price of £20 and an increase of about 10% generally. However, because it is a very collectable label, the price of a 45 can be distorted if it is on auction and is targeted by someone who wants it badly. Apart from the obvious ones, I'd nominate Roy Lee Johnson on red & yellow as being hard.
August 26, 200915 yr While we're talking red & yellow Actions, I have a Barbara Mason "Slipping away" / "Half a love" in Mint- condition that someone has recently asked me to sell to them. What price should this be? can't remember finding one of these before & I can't find it on popsike. Regards, Ady.

What price should this be? can't remember finding one of these before & I can't find it on popsike. Regards, Ady. Sold a load of Actions recently (inc Barbara Mason) on Ebay having had more or less the whole run inc blue & grey 70s releases. Just kept one or two of the more Northern dancers for DJing (E Holman, Showmen, B Patterson etc). Have to say was disappointed in prices I got considering so-called collectability of the label. Only Roy Lee Johnson got over £20.
August 27, 200915 yr Apart from the obvious ones, I'd nominate Roy Lee Johnson on red & yellow as being hard. Never thought about a value on that, bought it as a new release as well!! Z Z Hill must be another of the harder ones then?
August 27, 200915 yr The were two that were quite elusive, one was Eddie Holman and the other was actually The Showmen again, Take It Baby.
August 27, 200915 yr The were two that were quite elusive, one was Eddie Holman and the other was actually The Showmen again, Take It Baby. Seem to remember Take it Baby getting poor reviews in the music press at the time.
August 27, 200915 yr Seem to remember Take it Baby getting poor reviews in the music press at the time. I always thought it was a fantastic track...as good as OLWG
August 27, 200915 yr For me it's the Flip of OLWG : "You're my everything" Top tune! Is this General Johnson singing? Sounds a little bit like him.
August 27, 200915 yr For me it's the Flip of OLWG : "You're my everything" Top tune! Is this General Johnson singing? Sounds a little bit like him. Yes it is, he was the lead singer. Fantastic track "You're everything"
