Can someone please help me out on this , something that has puzzled me for years , did aske the question ages ago , but don't think I got the answer?

Jamo came up recentely and it made me think about it again ph34r.gif

OK first heard by me on a CD Rhythm & Soul , loved it and bought the single which tunred out to be much much slower ?

Did a faster version ever get released ? or was the CD version something special ...an unreleased version ?

Hiya Carms,

Not sure if this helpful or not but I have had 3 copies of this over time. Two black label Chess issues and a white Chess demo and they are all the same version, which I assume is the slower version you refer to. Will have to try and find the CD you mention to have a listen as I have not heard it.

Oh, just thought I'd have a root on Youtube and there's a post the version I have here....

P.S. Nice to see ya returning and enjoying Burscough Legion again thumbup.gif

The "fast version" on the CD is previously unissued. Kent/Ace used the wrong master tape when mastering the CD, that's apparently why the info on the CD says that it is the 7" version.

How about deleting it now,its not a case of moving it is a mp3 and they are not allowed or cant you read ? :D

Ok lets be constructive as I appear a little dim how do do you upload sounds in renfro cause I seemed to have missed the trick ? I looked everywhere and could not see it for love nor money ?

The actual refosoul upload page is extremely confusing but once you've done it a couple of times you get the hang of it.

Read attachments,quite clearly states no mp3s,so there is my cant you read statement,and you could have added refo-clip from this thread using button top right hand corner.Wont bother with smileys anymore clearly they dont work.

The Kent CD was a cock up but makes it interesting! That's how we ended up with the alt of Look At Me Now but we spotted that.

That does make it very interesting . I love the faster version of Jamo , thanks

Did something similar happen with Don't You Lie To Me/I Get Evil by Albert King on 1000 Volts Of Stax way back when, as well Ady?
