December 31st 1969 up until 11.45pm. It all went modern after that..........

1966 was a very good year!

For northern soul records, probably 65 or 66.

For soul records, 1971, or 73.

1965 definitely closely followed by 1966 not least 'cos it was also the year that England won a certain football trophy.
