Just woken up after an excellent nite at the 100 Club - some excellent sets played!!
One record which grabbed my attention is being played by Butch at the mo - all I could find out about it is that it's by Arthur Wallace (I guess that's how it's spelt). Anyone know any details on it (title, label etc?). Sorry about vagueness of detail here, but when I asked Butch about it while he was on, the only answer I got (with a smile) was "Arthur Wallace"!! It was too dark to see the labels on the decks, so that didn't help either!! What I can tell you it's that it's a neat organ-lead male vocal at about the same pace as style as "Sweete'n" by Wilbur Reynolds.
It was Butch's second spin in his 2 - 2.30am spot.
