Posted September 30, 201014 yr I'm sick of the old cardboard flip top boxes and looking to hand make something a little classier. Any inspiration out there?
October 1, 201014 yr Ikea do these in black or white, they hold around a hundred 45s and you can stack 'em on top of each other. Made of wood.
October 3, 201014 yr That is the Trissa box from Ikea? They don't carry the Trissa box anymore. There may be a few Ikea stores out there that still have them, but as far as I know, they have stopped making them and won't be selling in them future. Really sad because the price was good, and they were perfect for 45's. I am also looking for inspiration, and I don't want the cardboard boxes either. At the moment, I use the wooden box that they sell at www.protected.de but they are slightly more expensive than the Trissa box from Ikea, and they can't be stacked.
October 3, 201014 yr They sell wooden boxes in Homebase / Focus with lids that hold two rows of 45's perfectly - approx 400 45's per box - good for stacking - think they were about 10 pounds last time I bought a couple. Adam
