Phil / Chris thanks for the invite to play some tunes for you at the Civic, I enjoyed it and with the looks of the dance floor I wasn't the only one. Got there about 8:00 with Chris on the decks playing some Motown Classics at about 9:00 Phil asked me to take Chris off he was needed on the door "yep the door was busy". Keeping on the same wave as Chris my first peace of vinyl was the Impressions - You've Been Cheatin after some more tracks from the motown sounds, I laced into a medium tempo keeping the dance floor a little warm, before my friend Di came around and asked if I could play Bobby Hebb - Love, Love, Love, then the sounds of true Northern Soul was the agenda for the rest of my set. When Phil came onto the decks I thought to sack me, instead he said that I will be on again at cowboy time 10:10. So I had a great Bank holiday night, Chri / Phil the one down side m8s was it all ended to quickly KTF and the faith will keep you Dennis Link to comment
