(the original release for the fabulous US LP-only "Baby Don't Weep". the rest of the album is brilliant as well. nice mono copy in great shape)

Pic & Bill - Thirty Minutes Of Soul - VIBRATON - £40

(this fine italian LP includes the awesome dancer "Talk About Love" as well as 11 other of Pic & Bill's awesome tunes - a whole bunch of superb ballads but it also includes the LP-only dancers "Baby Come Back" and "You Walk So Fine" as well as favourites like "It's Not You" and "Nobody But My Baby". i can't recommend this LP enough.)

(includes the LP-only crossover masterpiece "Where Does The Love Go". a very rare LP)

(blasting uptempo dancer with screaming vocals. as good as they come)

Ace Spectrum - Keep Holding On - ATLANTIC - M- - £20

(much better and more danceable than "Don't Send..." and quite a bit rarer as well)

Salem Travelers - Give Me Liberty Or Death - CHECKER - EX - £25

(fabulous and obscure male group tune - slight warp NAP)

Rose Hargrove - Knocked Down Kicked Around - HELL'S - EX+ - £20

(in-demand r&b-ish dancer)

Joe Simon - Long Hot Summer - SOUND STAGE 7 - EX - £10

(if you don't know this, definitely check it out. pounding old-school northern dancer. flipside ballad plays a bit noisy, but it's crap so no need to worry.)

Bates Sisters - So Broken Hearted - NOLA - EX+ - £7

(untypical New Orleans girlie dancer)

Huey (Piano) Smith - Don't You Just Know It / High Blood Pressure - ACE - EX+ - £5

(more New Orleans stuff and two mindblowingly superb and absolutely timeless sides, I can't describe how much i love this stuff. I would eat this 45 if i could.)

(stomping 60s girl group oldie)

(pounding uptempo dancer with superb vocals, another one of those club soul tunes that are so good that it's ridiculous)
