Jez Jones
Firstly a big thanks to our guest DJ's for the day---Gaz and Andy two South Cheshire stalwarts and Vinnie our 'Man from the George'. Great work lads also thanks again to our local collectors who seamlessly fitted in a treat Some really interesting stuff played for the first few hours--in a really relaxed setting. Cappachinos all round here in leafy Cheshirs as Nick Marshall discuused the merits of Fred Hughes and Freddie Hughes---great stuff Darkness descended upon us and WOW --this crowd are insatiable We get a few travellers and locals mixed in and to say they are 'up for it' is an understatement We count ourselves lucky that they 'take' all whats thrown at em music wise---and still come back for more. This little soiree schedules to finish around 9ish ---as is getting the norm it just goes on and on---- When I spun me last at 9.50 and left -- Simon Cotterill took over---I aint kidding this freakin dancefloor was rammed .. so big big thanks to those that came and made it another fantastic Sunday in the Park A flavour of those early doors playlists chaps wouldn't go amiss in the appropriate place Link to comment

Geeselad
Just to echo Jez's sentiments, this session just builds and builds. Thanks to all that attended from myself, especialy the Dj's who really did keep the standards high, whilst providing amazing diversity. Just as a note, first one where we've begun in daylight hours and this caused a little unease for me, as the genuine soul crowd initially mixed with the serfs of congleton! LOL, Seriously though, this had never been an issue earier in the winter but we will accomodate for this in future with slightly later starts and finishes for the summer months. Link to comment
