Tollie is the original, VJ International is a later (but still legit) repress.

thanks for that , how later are we talking??

Ever seen anything else on the VJ International Label anyone?

I know this is an expensive 45 but didn't know it was on two labels, what is the going rate on the 2nd press?

Ste.

Is it just me..or would anyone agree that the VJ release must be raraer then the two Tollie releases of Rokk ? I cant remember having seen one...

Just had a look on Pat B's site but can't see it? I thought it was loads more expensive or is that just the other copy?

well, it was there until very recently...someone must have sniped it since my last post LOL

am I right in thinking there are also short and long versions on tollie ?

you are dylan, thats what I meant by "two releases" on tollie...the longer is thought by most to be the rarer of the two tollie releases. still one certain US dealer had/stll has mutliple copies of each

Lots of reissue LPs which were originally on VeeJay & related labels.

just gave the 45 a listen,, funny dont think it stands up as much now as it did 5-6 years ago, maybe ive grown old or more fussy

just doesnt seem as good a record as i once thought??

thanks for all the heads up fella's

I think the same. I must have had an overdose of it, reason why I sold my copy some maybe two years ago.

I still think it's a fabulous record, won't be suprised if it will be in my alltime 70s top ten when I'm old and grey

Wish it wasn't that rare so that I could buy a copy at a reasonable price....

there were also test pressings going about at the time the batch of tollie 45s were found.

I know what you mean Benji, and I agree, a fabulous record. I am not trying to talk it down, its just that I personally made the mistake to play it way too often. sort of individual over dose if you know what I mean.

I have that with a gorgeous picture sleeve

Mr Brady has one at only 50 UKP currently by the way...

And I have one also - will sell for 25 pence, that's half of 50 pence with the picture sleeve copy. I am willing to throw in a copy of the Star Band - which is listed with Mr Pat Brady at £75.00 for a £1.00. Move to sales if interested or mis - filed.

I have a copy of the VJ Int'l release, but it's a promo and has "Don't Be No Fool" on both sides.
