April 16, 201114 yr Author thanks for the info,no it's not the boot it's got someone's name scratched in at 12 o'clock,it looks really professional too,that much so that I wondered if anymore copies have it,maybe a worker at the pressing plant ? maybe someone likes to put their name on records,dunno ?

There were some collectors, in the early years especially, who always put their signature in the run out groove, and some of them had the appearance of being part of the records pressing. (cant think of any of the names now, but bet there's some still in my collection)

April 18, 201114 yr If you think you have a boot....fear not, the boot is blue! There's also a very early boot, certainly around by the late 60's, a deep red colour, no label name...
