Don't think I even got £40 when I had this a year or two ago, I picked another up off ebay for under $10. Both were white demos, maybe an issue is ultra rare, or else they just overestimated it's value by a long way.

he's got that wrong all the copies (3 or 4) i've had over the last 10yrs have come off ebay and there been plenty besides!!!! £40 - £50 ???

great record!!

I paid $80 on ebay a year ago and was annoyed that it was nowhere near as good as the cheap herb and doris

yes, what a good track. don't understand why the values are reversed on these.

Back in the mid-80s a London-based record dealer pal of mine had at least four 25 count boxes full of this, that he'd bought for pennies as part of a job lot of overstock blues 45s.

You could hardly give it away back then and I think most of his stock ended up binned...

In a word, no it isn't worth £300. Although saying that, if someone wants to give me £300 for mine I'd be willing to part with it  .

Wasn't Herb, Herb Sadler one time guitarist with Ike Turner.

Des Parker

That;s right, Des. I have a feeling that my 1980s dealer pal's mountain of copies came from Herb's garage, now you come to mention that...

Sounds exactly like Ike and Tina Turner's version played in a toilet, with echo and low-fi.
