The one on the SSS album is the vocal take. I assume SheffSoul is after the unreleased instrumental?

Edit: Mixed up some titles. "Just another dress rehearsal" is a slowie and probably not the one SheffSoul is after. The unreleased instrumental take of "Ain't got no love" (also on the SSS album) was falsely credited as "dress rehearsal". is this the right one?

yes..vocals wiped and strings added..maybe speeded up..never appeared on his soul galore label..must've got windy..but was sent out as an emi disc/acetate..and then was emi disc'd again..on 45 & possibly LP..

maybe..i vaguely remember some copies around long time ago..and a story of so called originals being (not original shall we say) then orange ones? ( 2nd issue/boot) i say 2nd issue, as rumour then it was never issued so the owner/tapes had small amount pressed..i'm sure there's some truth in there somewhere..and if anyone knows the full story ..i'd be happy to hear it..yes DR never surfaced other than acetates & emi discs..
