The type with lacquer on metal. Vinyl carvers are what they say vinyl. All I've had sound dull compared to the ones from Timmion.

Vinyl carvers = thin carved vinyl discs

Had some Soulful House one off remixes carved onto 12" vinyl from vinyl carvers & the sound quality is amazing.

Think most people try to cram longer tracks onto 7" vinyl & the tighter grooves compromise the sound quality.
