shite, I'd love to be there, but the missus is bleeding working nights again! top artist.

he did a phenomenal show last friday here in berlin! if you have the slightest chance of making it do yourself a favour and do so. you wont regret it. amongst my favourite concert experiences of all tmes. and I have seen a few.

Mrs G and I will be there - we both booked Friday as a days holiday as soon as we spotted it. Live events like this often seem to under-supported and I often wonder if it's because they are perceived as 'not Northern?" Alternatively - and at the risk of lighting the blue touch paper again - maybe it's another case of people preferring to to their local 'same old-same old' soul night. Or maybe some people just prefer hearing records?

Whatever. Great artists, great venue. I'm Really looking forward to tonight

To clarify: I mean under-represented from people who use the soul/funk/record forums. I expect the gig tonight to be will attended.
