Anyone please tell me if my Tony Gala "In Love" -Swan if this is original or not (Scan below) I have done a lot of research and found this on Popsike

I've had the other label variations (it was issued several ways - black-print-on-white, silver-on-black). I believe the black labels credits The Rising Sons as well; this one doesn't. As far as I know all are considered to be 'first pressings', although I've seen it claimed both that this one (yellow label) and the white label one came out first. This is unquestionably an original pressing.

My copy has the same matrix etched and the word "Virtue" etched both sides - (if you brighten the scan you can see this at 7oclock)

I believe the rarer Southbound Freeway was the 1st issue.

(I could be wrong and there's bound to be someone on here that knows... )

Mine had blue/green print though compared to your scan so that's the difference as far as I can see.

No longer have it so can't tell you run out info I'm afraid.

Hi Eddie, the image on popsike looked like black writing on yellow.... see below for rest of my conversation... think I pressed the wrong button and its gone onto another page as a quote..... Ill get my head round this computer lark one day LOL

Hi Eddie, the image on popsike looked like black writing on yellow....maybe its just the camera angle. So this is causing me a little headache... I have this on ebay ending in about 6 hours and it looks like someone may get a REAL bargain...(if its original of course)... hopefully I will get a definite answer on here soooooooooon....

Thanks for that, though Im still not the wiser as there are examples yellow labels with black writing on popsike fetching mega dollars.. so you can see why I am confused... Im intrigued by the fact that it has "virtue" scratched in the run out... so can anyone confirm to me IS IT A BOOT OR ORIGINAL ... ?

Loads of Philly reissues have Virtue scratched in Sue. Looks like the boot to me.

Benji is right. Black print on yellow label is as far as I know the boot. Original is blue print.

That's a mispressing using the same labels as the 45 with 3 catalogue numbers prior to the Tony Galla 45. It must've escaped the pressing plant by mistake, "In Love" wasn't supposed to have been released like that.

There actually is a 45 by Southbound Freeway that plays the correct tunes (and not Tony Galla):
