Guest soulful cris
Hello folks, just a quick one to say that unfortunately Keith Money just advised us that he wont' be able to take part to the weekender. We are obviously very sad about the news, since we all immensely appreciate his music, but we also know that the reason he can't make is job related and serious, so we really hope he will be in Italy very soon. Maria O
I posted this news up last Monday, just before the big crash... A carefully selected replacement just scooped the pool: Mr JOHN 'Keith' WESTON will be guest DJ'ing at the RIMINI WEEKENDER !!! (aka Spaghetti Weston finally does Italy!) I was able to book his flight straight away - and was surprised to still find a bargain. ...So, it's not too late to join the party READ MORE ABOUT THE WEEKENDER chat >> HERE << m Link to comment

Guest Andy BB
Does anyone know if this venue is air-conditioned? And if so is it like suit and tie air-conditioned or just trousers and shirt air-conditioned? Thank you. Sorry for the very early question but it's a curse when you've got a funny shaped arse, dwarves legs and too much up front and you have to worry about having your kecks tailored. Oh, and can I smoke in the do? And is it more than 75% 70s? Someone may be in BIG TROUBLE if the answers are No and Yes respectively Link to comment
Paul McKay
Air Con is pretty good Andy. You could probably suit it. Smoking yes! 70s less than 75%. RESULT! You must try the Vodka sorbets. So good we had to keep changing venue cos they kept running out! Link to comment
Soulsmith
Andy, you could well suit it inside the venue as paul says. But you'll fry on the way to venue. Its really hot even around 8 or 9pm. Link to comment
mischief
Can't wait... don't know what i'm looking forward to most... Soul in Rimini or being away from work or Mick LLoyds 4am drink challange at the airport on route.. Link to comment

It seems they are worried if anybody is going this year, but we assure them that we know it will be bigger than ever (by the massive feedback from others). Actually, each year the number of people travelling from the uk seems to double PLEASE USE THE EMAIL LINK ABOVE AND RESERVE YOUR PASS (PLUS YOU WILL SAVE SOME DOSH). IT WILL BE PACKED AGAIN AND A HASSLE FOR YOU OTHERWISE for anyone unsure about the music... There is just the one large room and lots of socialising (if you happen to dislike the odd record) and most sounds are uptempo with mainly 60's, some 70s, plus the odd 'then some'. It's one big holiday with an all-nite bar and fabulous food & weather as your warm-up. bASICALLY, I don't want any moaners and groaners spoiling it for us as for sorbets... The wonderful KarenB (who refuses to join us online) has also requested that extra alcohol be ordered, coz one year the venue ran out, and we don't want a riot THIS TIME. m Link to comment

Andy as flattered as I am by your concern for my flammable barnet, I feel compelled to set your mind at ease.... obviously hot oil in any situation needs to be handled with the utmost care and responsibility (just ask a fireman) which is why I plan to have a large cool pint of lager in my hand 24-7 with which I will douse the flames before they reach your immaculately tailored mohair swimming togs, thus protecting myself, you and any other innocent bystanders from the resulting iferno.
