Ruby Johnson Weak Spot

Little Beaver C/u for Kitch and Dean, sure it was first spun here after their joint to trip to the states?

Joyce Kennedy I'm a good Girl

Lou Roberts? C/U for Kitch

What will be apparent is that like other nighters many of these tunes were played elsewhere e.g. Stafford, Blackburn, Casino etc but they took on a life of their own at Ruff Cutt.

Tony Clarke Wrong Man

Embers You Can Lump it (I know is the Seminoles below - same recording though).

Martha Starr. love is The Only Solution

Carol Anderson Taking my Mind Off Love

Hank Hodge One Way Love

Ooh I like this, feeling melancholy today and this helps. Mr Byrne was right, most records did have some exposure elsewhere, some were massive elsewhere but generally we were like Magpies and picked those that hadn't yet made it and sounded right here. However some big not yet widely known records Allanton has to take credit for introducing such as Willie G and Mack Rice above, new c/u at Allanton, mostly Colin, and then there was this. Bumbling along, Chris Plant, Butch, Gary R all having tried it but not too much, than 7.25 at Allanton......

And then, Dean Anderson's tip, bubbling under, then it came North, to Colin and I and the rest is OurStory, not aged well but bloody hell it worked back then

And definitely not an Allanton record, huge 100 Club, but then anniversary single, I got 2! And 7.52 at Allanton, whipping up a frenzy, off to blow my nose now....

E Rodney Jones. Peace of Mind.

Only 47 replies so far to condense 4 half years !!! Ya miserable gits !!! Come on let's be having you're favourite Anniversary Tunes !! If you can recall those evenings !!

Jim O'Hara is writing some words about the Ruff Cutt bunch. The plan is to do an article with him about the nighter with top 20's/30's from the DJ's and I will hopefully doing podcasts of each DJ...that is the plan hopefully. Give the club the recognition it is due. Great nighter, no bollocks just a room full of loons having a great time!

Guy's coach's, more like a holiday the time it took  Dean Anderson's mini bus.....car trips with Celtic, what happened to him?

I will be in touch Andy and Jock.
